Turkey Tacos with Mango Slaw

1 lb ground turkey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup shredded green cabbage

1 cup shredded carrots

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Sliced avocado, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mango Slaw:

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, diced mango, and chopped cilantro. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice and honey (if you choose to use it), seasoning lightly with a pinch of salt. Drizzle the dressing over the slaw and gently toss everything together until thoroughly mixed. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.

      Cook the Turkey:

        In a spacious skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook for about 5 minutes, breaking it apart with a wooden spatula until browned and no longer pink. Stir in the spices: chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Continue cooking for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, allowing the turkey to absorb the flavors of the spices while ensuring it's heated through.

          Warm the Tortillas:
