Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 ounces each)

3 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets, ensuring that each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. For the best flavor, let the salmon marinate for 1-2 hours.

Preheat the Grill or Oven: If you're grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you're baking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare Salmon for Cooking: Once marinated, remove the salmon fillets from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Lightly season both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper.

          Cook the Salmon:

            - Grilling: Place the salmon skin-side down on the preheated grill. Grill for approximately 4-6 minutes on each side, brushing occasionally with the reserved marinade, until the salmon is cooked through and pieces flake easily with a fork.

              - Baking: Arrange the salmon fillets on the lined baking sheet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily. Optionally, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes for a caramelized finish on the top.

Serve: Once the salmon is done cooking, remove it from the grill or oven. Drizzle any remaining marinade glaze over the top if desired, and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds for an extra pop of flavor and texture.

Enjoy! Pair your Sriracha honey glazed salmon with steamed rice, stir-fried vegetables, or a refreshing salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
