Ingredients

1 pound cooked chicken breast, shredded

1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup salsa (your choice of mild or spicy)

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

¼ cup sour cream (optional, for serving)

Chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure it’s hot and ready for the wraps.

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, drained black beans, corn, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and evenly coated.

Unroll the Crescent Dough: Carefully open the package of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean, smooth surface. Gently separate the dough along the perforated lines into 8 triangles.

Fill the Dough: Take a spoonful (about 1-2 tablespoons) of the chicken mixture and place it at the wide end of each dough triangle. Be cautious not to overfill; ensuring it’s not overflowing will help keep your wraps intact.

Roll the Burrito Wraps: Starting from the wide end of each triangle, roll the dough up towards the pointed tip, tucking in the sides as you go to encase the filling completely. Pinch the edges firmly to seal each wrap.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the rolled burrito wraps seam-side down on a greased baking sheet or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Bake: Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Keep an eye on them until they turn a golden brown and are fully cooked through.

Serve: Once baked, remove the wraps from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, accompanied by a side of sour cream, and sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro for an added touch of flavor and freshness.
