Mini Chicken Alfredo Pasta Toasts

1 cup of cooked rotini pasta

1 cup of cooked, shredded chicken (store-bought rotisserie chicken works perfectly)

1 cup of Alfredo sauce (can be store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs (such as oregano, basil, or a blend)

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

1 loaf of French or Italian bread, sliced into 1-inch thick slices

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Fresh parsley or basil, finely chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure it's ready for the toasts.

    Prepare the Toast Base: On a large baking sheet, arrange the slices of bread in a single layer. Use a pastry brush to lightly coat each slice with olive oil on both sides. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is lightly golden and crisp. Once done, remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.

      Mix the Filling: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the cooked rotini pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, 1/4 cup of the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
