1 lb ground turkey

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

8 small slider buns

4 slices cheddar cheese, halved (optional)

Lettuce leaves, for garnish

Sliced tomatoes, for topping

Pickles, for topping

Prepare the Turkey Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey with the breadcrumbs, diced red bell pepper, chopped green onions, and minced garlic. Mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

    Make the Honey Mustard Sauce: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard and honey until smooth. Set aside 2 tablespoons of this sauce for later use, then fold the remaining sauce into the turkey mixture, ensuring it is well incorporated.

      Season the Mixture: Add the smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the turkey mixture. Stir thoroughly to ensure all seasoning is evenly mixed throughout.

        Form the Patties: Using your hands, shape the turkey mixture into 8 equal patties, each about 2 inches in diameter.

          Cook the Patties: Preheat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook the patties for approximately 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). If you opted for cheese, place half a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt perfectly.

            Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns either in another skillet or under a broiler until they achieve a golden-brown color.
