Ingredients

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

4 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled

1 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (blend of peas, carrots, and corn)

2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini recommended for texture)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 cup crispy fried onions (optional, for an extra crunch on top)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to preheat at 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the casserole.

Combine the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cooked, shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, frozen mixed vegetables, and cooked pasta. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika. Stir thoroughly until all components are fully incorporated and coated in ranch dressing.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Carefully spoon the well-mixed chicken and pasta mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, ensuring it is spread out evenly for uniform cooking.

Add Topping: If using, sprinkle the crispy fried onions across the top of the casserole for an added layer of texture and flavor.

Bake the Casserole: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The casserole is ready when it’s hot and bubbly, and the cheese is melted to perfection.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Serve warm, and consider pairing it with a fresh side salad or some crusty bread for a complete meal.
