  • 1.0 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2.0 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1.0 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.0 to taste salt
  • 0.0 to taste pepper
  • 1.0 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.0 for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Turkey Legs: Start by patting the turkey legs dry with paper towels. This will help the skin crisp up in the air fryer.
  • Make the Cheese Mixture: In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Stuff the Turkey Legs: Carefully loosen the skin on each turkey leg by gently sliding your fingers under the skin at the top and working your way down.
  • Add Cheese Filling: Spread a generous amount of the cheese mixture under the skin of each turkey leg, distributing it evenly. Make sure to seal the skin back in place after stuffing.
  • Season the Outside: Brush the outside of the turkey legs with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Air Fry the Turkey Legs: Place the stuffed turkey legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  • Melt More Cheese (Optional): In the last 5 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the legs for extra cheesiness.
  • Serve: Once cooked, remove the turkey legs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
