Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/4 cup caramel sauce (you can use store-bought or homemade)

1/4 cup crushed graham crackers

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional for added texture)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to enhance sweetness)

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Prep the Bananas: Start by peeling the ripe bananas and slicing them into rounds approximately 1/2 inch thick. Set the banana slices aside for assembly.

Mix the Yogurt: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with the vanilla extract. If you prefer sweeter yogurt, mix in the honey or maple syrup. Stir thoroughly until the mixture reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.

Layer the Ingredients: Grab silicone muffin cups or small paper cups. Spoon approximately one tablespoon of the yogurt mixture into the bottom of each cup to create the first layer.

Add Banana Slices: On top of the yogurt layer in each cup, place a few banana slices. Then, drizzle a teaspoon of caramel sauce over the banana slices, allowing the sweetness to soak in.

Repeat the Layers: Add another layer of yogurt over the caramel and banana slices. Follow this with more banana slices and another drizzle of caramel sauce. For an extra crunch, consider sprinkling some crushed graham crackers and chopped walnuts on each layer if desired.

Final Layer: Conclude with one final layer of yogurt. To finish off, sprinkle some additional crushed graham crackers on top and add a drizzle of caramel sauce for visual appeal.

Freeze: Carefully place the filled cups in the freezer. Let them freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until they are completely solid.

Serve: When ready to enjoy, remove the cups from the freezer and allow them to sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. To release the yogurt cups, gently pull on the sides of the silicone cups or peel off the paper cups.

Garnish (Optional): For an extra touch of elegance, top your yogurt cups with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers before serving.
