1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for breadcrumbs)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture. Drain the pasta well and set it aside.

      Prepare the Broccoli: If you're using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch the florets for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still vibrant green. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.

        Combine the Ingredients: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked elbow macaroni, steamed broccoli, 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir everything together until all the ingredients are well incorporated and evenly coated.
